Meditation creates and opens the journey of coming home to yourself.
I support individuals and groups to learn and practice through developing the habit of noticing and nurturing important feelings while focusing on a way to access your own bodily wisdom.
Our Ethos
To experience openness to new opportunities, to live your life, with your spiritual health intact, recalibrating every time you go inward, to where the realness of your reality takes place.

Our Story
-
When I was growing up, I never had to work to believe. To believe in myself, my gifts and my Whakapapa. This belief is what guides my personal life, to keep growing, evolving and to live life to its fullest.
Throughout my life, I have pursued many career paths which have made me happy, using my creativity to spark change, and paths which have supported me in my growth for myself and others.
-
Yet every time I thought I was in my flow, and in my element, a feeling inside would whisper “No More! You’re ready for a challenge!” My response was…
“I need more time…”
“No! I’m not ready. I haven’t learnt enough yet…”
“I’m scared…”
-
I would find myself continually in this SAFE loop.
We all know a loop isn’t the best place to stay, yet we have all done it. It was about realising that my time in this loop, and limiting mindset had come to an end.
I needed to move forward, to find out what REALLY drives me, and to put everything I had been taught into something that helps serve others, empowering people's lives.
Through moments of self doubt, I was put back on the path to teach meditation.
Meditation always kept me light in life, anything to do with my spiritual self, felt safe for me… like an old friend who would help me through life's challenges.
Here’s what changed my perception.
I thought everybody could do what I do. I wasn’t taught how to guide people through meditation.
Yeah, I had teachers who showed me how to expand my consciousness, however in the end, it turned out that I had a talent for something that couldn’t really be taught.
So, I unlearn to relearn.

Myths + Benefits
-
You must quiet your mind completely during meditation. It is normal to have random thoughts pop up during meditation. Even people who have practiced meditation for years, experience this.
You must sit completely still, in a cross legged position. You are a loving human, not a statue. Somedays you may find stillness quicker than others. Choose a position that you find relaxing.
Meditation is serious. Coming back to your truest self isn’t serious. It’s about finding compassion, love and joy for your inner self.
It requires years of experience to reap the benefits. Scientific research shows that if you practice meditation for five to 20 minutes a day for eight weeks, you will see health benefits, such as lower blood pressure, better sleep and a less reactive approach to stressful situations.
Meditation is a religious practice. Holistic Meditation is a practice for you, and you alone. It does not need to follow instructions, routine or guidelines. It is a practice for your inner self.

FAQs
I’m bad at meditating. I can’t quiet my mind.
There are many ways to teach meditation. For me, going into meditation is like watching all my thought travel down a conveyer belt. I’m often astonished at what will show up. In my daily meditations, I can speed up or slow it down. And then something clever happens! Something or some object shows up, that isn’t part of your normal day. That’s your opportunity to follow the clue. To wander and to investigate as to where it might take you. A wondering mind leads to a rested mind, that support your body into a state of rest also. Sometimes even more restful that a good nights sleep!
Will meditation solve all my problems?
What meditation does is allows you to see clearly and from a different perspective. Problems are good, because there is always a solution. Always. Meditation gives you the space to think, making way for small gaps to appear so that you can find a different way of looking at the same problem. Perhaps making way for new belief patterns, or ways of thinking.
Why would you recommend holistic meditation?
When you meditate each day, you become more aware and take charge over emotional triggers, instead of allowing them to take control over you. When something happens and it is out of your control, you are better emotionally equipped to handle the solution, without reacting. It’s the small space in between that gives you time.
I don’t have enough time to meditate daily
The only way to have more time is by doing meditation daily. The stress and pressure your under ages everything about you. Up to 20 years more than your chronological age. Meditation on the other hand can reverse the effects on your biological ageing. You can even do open eye meditation at your desk! Not day dreaming, but meditating. Walking meditations even, where you are fully in your body. What’s amazing, is that when you start to slow down, time slows down too.
Surely meditation is just some new age nonsense?
Meditation goes back thousands of years. There is nothing new about it. Learning to be spiritual, stepping into yourself, has never had anything to do with trends or phases. We are all spiritual, we all shine, we no longer have to be quiet or embarrassed about wanting to believe in our own abilities and powers.
